It is such a regret that even when it comes to the 21st century, we can still find the situation of “Treat the symptoms rather than getting to the root of the problem”, which was an earlier days’ medical treatment / medical concept that has deeply planted in minds of most of the people, while somehow those who have medical sense also strongly believe this old concept works.

時至今日，21世紀，一般人心目中 “頭痛醫頭”，”腳痛醫腳”的觀念，仍然深植大眾心目中，甚至連有醫學常識的人士亦深信此一道理。

For example, applying amputation on common bone fracture, taking anti-diarrhea drugs in case of diarrhea, while quite many suggesting blood transfusion on simple anemia (for example, Iron Deficiency Anemia / IDA ) , as well as taking pain killer when there is feeling of pain, for example (a) non steroid pain killer (b) steroid (c) morphine

例如：把截肢手術應用於普通骨科外傷上，肚疴食止疴藥，一般貧血病（例如缺鐵性貧血），很多人士都主張輸血，身體疼痛食止痛藥，例如 a)非類固醇止痛藥 b)類固醇 c) 嗎啡 …等等

While in the case of blood transfusion for dogs, though there is lower chance of Rejection Phenomenon when a dog receives the same type of blood during the “First Time” of blood transfusion, it has to be emphasized that blood transfusion is NOT the best way to cure Anaemia, it is because when the external red blood cells got burst or died after blood transfusion, the function of the Blood Production System of the dog will be affected and decreased by the external blood transfused and the dog has also high possibility of being infected by unknown virus or babesia spp. etc.

又例如首次接受輸血的狗隻，雖然接受任何同類血型的血液只出現＜較低＞的排斥現象，但輸血並非治療貧血的最佳方法，因為當輸入的紅血球爆破或死亡，而且狗隻本身的造血系統會受到外來血液影響而功能下降，並且極有可能受到外來血液中不知名的病毒或焦蟲 … 等感染。

There should have quite a lot of companion pet animal pet guardians experienced the above types of medical treatment which are not my personal imaginative ideas, but they are simply actual facts.

上述情況的現象，應該有很多愛寵主人都經歷過這種醫療方法，並非我個人想像出來的，而是鐵一般的普遍事實。

It is acceptable if these types of treatment methods can handle the symptoms and also able to fix the root, but the fact is, they do not sheerly destroy the complete structure of the body and the internal organs but also bring irreversible permanent damage to the companion pet animal !

如果這種治療方式能夠針對病情治標，再進一步可以治本，則無可厚非，但事實對動物身體健康，肢體原整性或內臟器官均有殘害，並且有可能做成不可逆轉的永久傷害！

The medical techniques nowadays have already reached a pretty advance level, and so the health of the companion pet animals is much better protected than in the past. When the companion pet animals have sickness like, for example, tooth aches, external wounds, bacterial or viral infection, anemia, paralysis, or formation of lumps etc, quite many of them are not simply caused by one single factor. Thus, the idea of “Treat the symptoms rather than getting to the root of the problem” is already out-dated or old-fashioned which when applied, can lead to damage of the internal organs of the companion pet animal when it comes to a serious situation or permanent disable and even lead to death in the worse scenario.

現在醫學技術已經非常發達，愛寵健康更受保障。假若愛寵患上疾病例如：牙痛、外傷、細菌或病毒的感染、貧血、癱瘓、腫瘤的形成…等等，其中很多病例並非由單一原因引起，所以“頭痛醫頭”，”腳痛醫腳”，”貧血則輸血” ， 已經是不合時宜的醫學觀念，嚴重的甚至可以導致愛寵內臟器官功能受損、永久傷殘或死亡！

The above are just my personal brief understanding on medical health studies which I hope it somehow can provide a bit of benefit to those who strive for knowledge or to those companion pet animal pet guardians.
